Probation of will

Each and every will which is duly signed with attesting witnesses and registered during the lifetime of the testator will come into play only after his death. Under the Indian Succession act, 1925,  in order to be probated an original copy of the will has to placed before the competent Jurisdictional Court of Law. The beneficiary of the will has to prove the genuineness of the will before the court of law, to probate the will and to enjoy the assets as per the mandate of the the testator of the will.
